Who, what & why

 
 

Carrie Wilde

Yoga teacher based in the Highlands of Scotland.

My offerings are based on principles rooted in physical awareness and understanding our body. Learning about our unique patterns and how we can work with that knowledge to create safety within ourselves to live in the present, to enjoy and encourage ourselves fully for peak progress and enjoyment.

200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa and Somatics Yoga Teacher Training in Bristol with Lucy Crawford and Caroline Tautz in 2019.

20 hour CPD on the Spine with Lucy Crawford.

300 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Caroline Tautz in London, including Mindfulness with Class Fairweather, anatomy with Lucy Crawford (fascial touch and assisting, creative flow and meditative techniques, psychology of yoga and embodied practice).

Level 3 qualified personal trainer, qualification taken with Improve Academy.

why

Simply put, I once moved around trapped in stress, physically and mentally. During pregnancy I wanted to address the gremlins in my mind and release the physical tension.

Then a very gradual unravelling commenced thanks to yoga, bodywork and therapy. It’s a joyous experience to feel good and brave in our bodies, one I’m passionate to share in well thought out programmes.

The dell of abernethy

The next Fearless weekend will take place at the Dell of Abernethy in April 2023.

These weekends offer space for you to reset your nervous system, reconnect with yourself in nature and give you an inspirational boost of confidence in your capabilities.

We explore yoga practices, cold water therapy and mindful art practices.
